Caroline Rufaro Tedi

A professional dancer / performing Artist born and raised in Zimbabwe. Caroline Rufaro Tedi has her background from the Dance Foundation Course (student) of National ballet of Zimbabwe 2003-05, a dancer with the Tumbuka Dance Company, Kunsthøgskolen I Oslo; modern dance student 2006-10.Caroline has taught dance Bergen kulturskule, Stord kulturskole and Bømlo kulturskole.

She studied cultural understanding at NLH in Bergen and currently a BA student in Barnhagelære at Høgskolen vestlandet.

She is a founding member of the newly Vestlandet Danseteater based in Bergen.

Brian H. Geza

Bergen,Norway based Brian Geza has twenty years of experience working in the performing arts as a performer, teacher, and choreographer. He has performed on international stages such as Edinburg Festival, FNB Dance Umbrella, and the Africalia Dance Festival. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Zvishamiso Arts, a Mbare based community performing arts troupe, Co- founder and Artistic director for Mafuwe International festival of dance, a dance festival that takes place in Harare, Zimbabwe.

A former dancer with the legendary Tumbuka Dance Company, and was winner of the 2013 NAMA outstanding choreographer award. Brian is a graduate from Oslo academy of the Arts in Norway in the master’s of choreography class of 2010. A 2014 Fellow for the Mandela Washington Fellowship (Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). A graduate of the National Ballet of Zimbabwe`s Dance Foundation Course program (2000- 2001) and Tulane University in New Orleans (2014).

He is a founding member of the newly Vestlandet Danseteater based in Bergen.

Phil Chigwida

Since joining simba arts, Phil has played a crucial role in the continued success of the organisation. Their exceptional skill set, true passion and creativity has inspired massive growth.

Tendai Zuze Fulukia

General manager or Simba Arts Zimbabwe branch and Co-odinator of Afro Arts Festivalen iBergen.

Simbarashe Norman Fulukia (Simba)

Originally from Zimbabwe Simbarashe Norman Fulukia (Simba) is a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher based in Bergen, Western Norway. He works freelance as a dance artist in collaboration with artists who work with dance, sound, music, video, theater and technology. He uses much of his cultural background in relation to Norwegian culture to promote human dignity, diversity and inclusion through dance and art.

He has a BA in modern dance from the Academy of Fine Arts Oslo, danced with Carte Blanche! 2006 - 2015 and worked as a dance teacher at Bømlo Kulturskole from 2015 to 2018.

He is a founding member of the newly Vestlandet Danseteater based in Bergen.

Robert January

Robert January is a Zimbabwean-born male professional dancer with background from South African based Ikapa Dance Theatre (2016) and Tumbuka Dance Company (2015).Educated at Dance Foundation course of the National Ballet of Zimbabwe(2010-2015).Robert is a co-founder of the South African based Ubuntu Dance Theatre and recently the Artistic Director of GreatZimbabwe Ensemble (GZE).

A founding member of the newly Vestlandet Danseteater based in Bergen.

Ennias Rhappozzoh

Bergen & Harare based Ennias joined Simba Arts  in August 2014.He  graduated with BA of Arts & Management with Honors from the Simba Arts Trust (Zimbabwe).Ennias is professional dancer, musician,Instructor & at music co-odinator at Afro Arts Festivalen I Bergen and a founding member of the newly Bergen dance company "Vestlandet Danseteater". He teaches marimba music at Fana kulturhus  in Bergen.

He is a founding member of the newly Vestlandet Danseteater based in Bergen.

John Pfumojena
